I waited and excruciating amount of time, it seemed, to finally actually receive my Smart Pack 2.0, HydroCapsule, pack cube set. I'll stick to the bag here.
I've been using the Smart Pack for a few weeks. Waited specifically for the sole purpose of giving a real review.
Heavy duty, extremely well constructed, loaded with features. Daily use is great. Laptop and the range of equipment that comes with it fits well. Still room for a few days clothes. I was sent the shoe bag, possibly in place of the HydroCapsule I was promised and did not receive for the long wait/patience if I wouldn't cancel the order. Bummer. Shoe bag is about pointless. It will only hold flops/sandles, 'maybe' dress shoes. The lower shoe compartment will hold tennis shoes and is separate from the inner compartment of the pack, so don't really need nor want the shoe bag anyhow. The HydroCapsule I was offered would have been better considering, but that choice was decided for me apparently. The compression packing cube is tremendously useful, however. The multiple features are all superb all combined. It isn't universally all encompassing, but as close in a pack one could get. Great pack for day/work use, but perfect for those week-long trips here and there. This pack is built to go the distance too. I am glad I held my patience to receive. High price, but Uber functional; will definitely go the distance in durability.
